At least you wouldn't have the sand coming out of the surface at TMS like you have at HPT!

BTW, I remember a Viper beating a certain Lance Adams on the TMS lot....just a thought, Stuart.

Try Joe's Hitch.

Used to be one in Plano but I think it closed down. I know there's still one in Dallas down on I30. They actually had a hitch for my Porsche 924S years ago. Plus, they do pretty good work too.

Also they'll have a trailer wiring isolator for the trailer lights.

It looks like a fairly simple install of a $140 (+s/h) part (internet price) assuming you have a drill that you can mount a 1/2" bit in (I don't but I bet harborfreight does lol). Then you'll need to wire a wiring harness up.

I need some help in finding a place to have a trailer hitch installed on my 350Z. I thought U-Haul u the street would be perfect, but they do not sell a hitch for a 350Z.

Anyone know a place?

I bought Jim's trailer and would like to get it home!!

Thanks,
Steve

I wasn't suggesting we try and have the event on any of our surfaces we normally use. I was just trying to give the scale of where we weekend race vs. what the proposed sites were.

Blythville would be close, but there's nothing there!

Oh ok! My fault! I wasn't trying to beat you up.

I agree with you about Blythville. I just think by the time we take out the area in Lincoln that we can't use. Blythville might be bigger.

It might be kinda fun having it in a small town...we could kinda take it over!

There would be riots in the streets of Texas Motor Speedway if we held a National Championship on the Bus lot surface! Pennington...too small for 2 good course much less 1,200 people and tow rigs. Le Grave...as much as I love it too small and light poles. Miserable Wells...Crappy Surface...Middle of nowhere! I vote for Blythville!

I think it would be sweet if they used an outside lot for one course and the road course for another :)

Two different type of surfaces, two types of courses. Really proves who is the best driver.

Of course, the logistics of it all would be a pain, but I think it would be pretty neat.

Just a word on the TMS site......they are proposing using an additional parking lot instead of just the one (Bus Lot).

FYI.

It's time for the last Texas Region RoadRally of the year:

Explore the countryside north and east of Dallas (mostly in Collin and Hunt counties) in the first annual Night Rally! Starting after dinner, the event should get most of you home before it gets too late. No extra driving-lights needed....hand-held spotlights are prohibited (they tend to bother the locals). Everything you need to see will be visible in your headlights.

The rally is on Saturday, November 8th, with registration at 6pm in Richardson. See the attached flyer, or go to
http://www.texasscca.org and click on Rally.

Preregistration is open at
http://www.dlbracing.com/clubs/texasscca/rally.aspx?EventID=3635
