Featured Car/Driver of the Week
Bill McLaughlin / BP Corvette Here we see Bill driving his bright screaming yellow Corvette on a short straight. Bill tells me that the car is a lot of fun to drive fast until it's time to stop. That's right, old Corvette racers don't have power brakes. Every time he comes back to grid he is smiling so the power must make up for the brakes. Bill's car is immaculate inside and out and it would be hard to find a cleaner driven example. The equipment under the perfect yellow paint is all quality stuff too, that's what makes this a fine example of a B-prepared car. Bill is always improving just a few tenths at each event. It looks like by the end of the year he should be a force to deal with in any BP grid. This is not Bill's first Corvette or I bet his last but you can be sure it will be hard to top the quality of this one. We need some more submissions. Lets don't be modest now! Here is a good chance to reward someone in your club that does well on course or in the support of your organization. It's time they get credit for the excellence.
