DonaLeigh Engstrom / Corvette Z-51

There are many different personalities that one finds at an autocross event. The ones that seem to have the most fun are the people that are working hard to make sure the event is a success. DonaLeigh is a driver/worker that has fun at local events in the north Texas area, SCCA Nationals Tours and Southwest Region Divisionals. All though she has only been autocrossing for a few years she has jumped to the top of the volunteer list. She has been a key person in the success of Texas Region SCCA program as being in charge of event registration and even the co-chair of the SCCA National Tour in Fort Worth.

To say DonaLeigh is a Corvette enthusiast is an understatement. The Engstrom's have two C5's in the garage and they have both seen action on the autocross course. DonaLeigh's personal car is the Z51 in the dark metallic blue which she has driven stronger, faster, and quicker this year as she gets use to the mighty power and grip that her Hoosier tires provide. She has done well this year with several 3rd place finishes in the open Super Stock class. DonaLeigh is proof that hard work and patents leads to success in any sport.
